Monthly Archives: February 2008

Last week I was up at Mount Washington on Vancouver Island. I decided to take my holga out with me and get a few shots from the hill. This is just a few, for all of them click on any one of my pictures and look at my flickr photostream.

Strangely enough, this is the second post about the Nikon D80 Challenge group and I was the second to post in this weeks contest. I set up my tripod outside the deck door (of which there is no deck) and had the cable release coming back inside so that I could watch the birds without scaring them off.

Some new pictures taken on Friday. This is only one of them, I might upload more later. I recently joined a group that gave me some motivation, it’s a flickr group called, ‘Nikon D80 Challenge’. It just started up and the third challenge was local weather. This will be my submission.

Just some new pictures that I took this morning to brighten up some winter moods, I find that winter can be very, bi-polar, in the sense that it is either raw beauty or painfully dull. I hope that these pictures will brighten the day.

Flipping through my own archives, I realized that I haven’t updated yet for the whole month of February. Granted, that’s only 7 days, however, it still sounds pathetic. Here’s a few pictures I took at the end of January out in East Sooke, B.C.
*edit: I’m picking up some Holga pictures tomorrow, I hope to have them up by Friday night.
