This is a shot from my latest purchase, a Nikon 85mm f/1.8D Lens. The shot is for a contest on flickr called Tilted Horizon, the flower is growing out of the bush almost horizontally. The Aperture in this shot is at 4.5. Unfortunately, due to a loss of parts, I am not able to use my tripod so this is also a handheld shot. Not as sharp as I would have liked it.
The above picture, a Martin 16 keel boat, designed specifically to be adaptable for sailors with disabilities. The Disabled Sailing Association of B.C., Victoria Branch (DSABC) has two of these. They also have a few other boats including the Access dinghy and an olympic class Sonar keel boat. During the summer more than 200 sails will take place in Esquimalt harbour.
